Pastoral Support

Here at St Peter’s we have  group of people trained to provide Pastoral Care and Support for people in the Parish Community or on the Electoral roll.

We can arrange.

  • Home, Hospital or Hospice visiting.
  • Bereavement support.
  • Home or Hospital Holy Communion and Prayer.
  • Regular Afternoon Tea Parties.
  • Contact with a member of the Clergy.
  • Afternoon Tea Parties

We regularly hold test parties in the Chapter Rooms at the Church. If you, or you know of anyone who, would enjoy a cup of tea, homemade cakes and friendly company, please contact the Church Office. Transport can usually be arranged for those who need it.

    Bereavement Support

We offer a listening ear in the days and weeks after bereavement. In addition one of our team may accompant the Priest on the pre-funeral visit and attend the funeral service, if considered appropriate. That person is then known to the family and available to offer support.

If you, or if you know anyone who, would benefit from this support and care, please contact St Peter’s Parish Office
