Summer Fete 2016

Please check you have returned any completed stubs/counterfoils and money for the Summer Fete Grand Draw, together with any unused raffle ticket booklets. If making out a cheque, please make it payable to ‘PCC of Titchfield’. More tickets for the Grand Draw will be available at the fete.

It is not too late to donate items for Saturday 14th May. The church is open daily 9.00am-4.00pm to receive books, bottles, cans and jars, tins of biscuits and sweets, chocolates, CD’s, DVDs, Games, Toys and Toiletries, together with donations for Bargain Hunt.

On Friday 13th, or during morning of the day of the fete, please bring cakes for the cake stall and teas and also, plants or produce for the plant stall.

Do not forget, on the day, to bring along any tools for sharpening.

It will be entry on the day – between 1.00 and 2.45pm, for the under seven year olds dressed as their ‘Favourite Character’ for the Fancy Dress Competition at 3.00pm.

In the front garden of the Old Vicarage, entertainment will be provided by the
17 piece band Paul McKenna’s Swingworld.

In the rear garden, the afternoon programme will include Out of the Ashes,
who we welcome back to Titchfield. Expect an eclectic compilation of country, pop, African, Latin and jazz as well as soul gospel, from the UK duo of Penny Lyon and Kevin Washburn.

Also, on display will be Kick Boxing and Country Dancing.

If you have not yet seen the new South door to the church, there will be opportunity on the day. In Church, there will be a Traidcraft stall and refreshments will be available. Our resident organist Keith Miller will be playing and happy to talk about the church organ.

Everyone who buys an entry programme will have the opportunity to win a prize in the Entry Raffle, so please do not forget to give in your completed programme slip.

Look out for the other raffles where you might win A Family Day Out and/or An Evening Out. Is ‘everyone a winner’ on the Super Chance tombola?

We look forward to seeing you at the Old Vicarage and in St Peter’s Church, we hope you enjoy the entertainment, the range of stalls, including Crafts and ASDA, the games and also, find something of interest provided by the various community organisations. At the gate, ribbon will be cut to open the fete at 1.00pm.
